What is a taekwondo competition team?
A competition team trains for Olympic-style tournaments beyond regular class. Team Storm is invite or tryout — not automatic with a free week. Ask at 517-220-0621.
Do I have to compete if I take taekwondo at Storm?
No. Most students stay in regular kids, family, or adult class. Competition is extra for athletes who want local, state, or national events.
How do I try out for Team Storm?
Start in regular class, then ask coaches about tryouts. Use Contact or call 517-220-0621. Do not treat the free week as a tournament entry.
What age can a kid join a taekwondo competition team?
School-age students who already train at Storm can be considered. Mini Troopers (ages 3–5) are not a competition team. Coaches decide readiness. Farmington Hills gym only.
